adj. cam gears for my zc?

has any one had any expierence with adj. gears on there ZC? is it worth it? how far would you adj. each gear any combos that work best? everthing i have read says to advance the exaust and leave the intake alone? i have access to a dyno but not so sure it is worth the tune time...

good question, a buddy and i were fooling around with the setup last night. We each have a ZC, both had the cam setup lines off but in the same postion If we aligned the "lines" to be level with one and another we lost power.

Shouldnt in theory, they be aligned level.
